American branch
The Turkey branch of Antonowicz & Partners Law Firm was established to provide comprehensive legal support to clients conducting matters or business activities in Turkey, as well as to individuals and entities whose matters involve legal relations between Turkey and Poland. In cooperation with local lawyers, it assists in resolving legal issues related to Turkish law and cross-border matters, without the need to independently seek legal assistance abroad.
The Law Firm deals in particular with matters concerning litigation, employment law, commercial law, construction law, contractual disputes, and compliance. Clients may rely on support both in day-to-day legal services and in more complex commercial, regulatory, and international matters.
An important area of the branch’s activity is cross-border matters, especially those concerning legal relations between Turkey and European countries. The assistance includes, among others, document review, preparation of legal opinions, support in negotiations, representation in disputes, and advice in matters requiring consideration of the laws and practices of several jurisdictions.
The branch also supports individual clients in international family law matters. The assistance may include, in particular, divorce cases, maintenance/alimony matters, parental authority, contact with children, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, as well as the preparation of documents and powers of attorney required to conduct family law matters in Turkey or abroad.
Cooperation in Turkey is carried out with the participation of Ceren Canatan, an attorney-at-law and member of the Ankara Bar Association, who has experience in advising domestic and international clients. Client services are available in Turkish and English.
